Metronome

A gastronome
Always digests
Their first course
With a nose;

And equally,
The time-hungry
Voracious
Dinosaur-shaped
Metronome
Of my only heart
Is well-known

To devour
Permanence,
Regurgitated
And replaced
With all we lost alone.
